Political Comm #4473 – Grading Change

I mentioned all this in class a few weeks ago, but wanted to make sure it was documented.

There are two changes to our syllabus.

1. The required research component of the grade has been eliminated. You no longer have to do this. There will be an opportunity to participate in a research project later in the semester for extra credit points. Alternatively, you can complete a short research paper (2 pages) for extra credit. If you want to do the short research extra credit paper, YOU MUST LET ME KNOW BY OCTOBER 15.
2. Our tests (mid-term and final) are no longer take home but will be completed in class. The mid-term will be on October 19 and the final will be on December 7.
