Blog 1: Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity

I am a member of the Alpha Phi Omega community, a co-ed service fraternity at Mizzou.

I was first drawn to the organization because of its mission to help others and as that is still important to me, I also value the friendships and opportunities they had to offer.  Since I joined in Fall of 2010 I have held an executive board position and although I am no longer on E-board, I am still very much involved in the service we provide and the activities we plan.  There are many information outlets from which I get my information from the fraternity.  As a member, we are required to attend a certain percentage of meetings in order to maintain active status for instance.  We are also contacted via e-mail, Facebook, and text about upcoming events from our executive board members.  Also, occasionally events are posted in MU Info which is sent to all Mizzou student e-mails.

Good. Which form of communication from Alpha Phi Omega do you think is most important and/or useful?

Be sure to add the course assignment category (e.g., “Blog 1”) to your post. You’ve got the class category listed, which is good, but you need the assignment category. And you need to add tags to your post. You can use pre-existing tags or create your own. Tags will help people find your post when searching on the web.
