- This article ranks NCAA schools based on their athletic revenue. Given the situation that unfolded on campus this past weekend, it’s important to note how schools depend on their athletic programs, not just football programs, to bring in a profit.
- The data was compiled by USA Today and includes 230 Division 1 schools. The data was collected from revenue and expense reports that schools are obligated to release upon request, since the NCAA does not release them. Some private schools weren’t included as were schools under a state exemption.
- How much in revenue and profit did Mizzou’s football team generate last fiscal year? Seeing this figures would be interesting considering their involvement catalyzing the resignment of Tim Wolfe and Chancellor Loftin.
