The Tiger X Community

I consider myself to have been apart of a lot of communities throughout my time at Mizzou. The community that i consider myself to be apart of currently the Tiger X community at Mizzou. I love being a member of Tiger X because you get to take a lot of cool classes that help you get in shape and have fun at the same time.

Tiger X Class

Pump at Mizzou's Recreational Complex

Tiger X is a program that is open to the whole Columbia community where you can come in and take fun classes like Zumba, Kick Boxing, Pump, Circuit, etc. All the classes that I have mentioned I have personally taken and loved. I think it is good community to belong to because not everyone buys a membership to the classes and so it’s kind of a tight-knit working out community. Also when you work out on a regular basis you can build a relationship with the instructors and they can help you with any questions and give you more workout tips.

It doesn’t take much to be apart of this community. A semester pass only cost $49.00 and it allows you to get into any class that the Recreational Complex has to offer.  For more information on buying your semester pass or your one day class pass you can visit http://www.mizzourec.com/programs/tigerx/index.asp?Class=35  or you can visit the Recreational Complex and talk to the people at the desk for more information.

Are there communication activities and/or information sources other than attending classes that help build your connection to this community?

Be sure to add the blog assignment number in your title (e.g., “Blog 1: The Tiger X Community). And you need to add tags to your post also. Good job otherwise.
